Our Fourth Annual Chaffee County Green Homes Tour was held September 17, in Salida and Buena Vista. This year we also got an opportunity to learn about the landmark federal Inflation Reduction Act legislation from two of Colorado's top policy leaders. Homeowners, volunteers and representatives from solar installers Peak Solar Designs, Renewable Energy Outfitters and Colorado Solar Energy were on hand to explain smart “green’’ home features.
