Alliance for a Sustainable Colorado
The Alliance for Sustainable Colorado is a nonprofit organization dedicated to transforming sustainability from vision to reality. The Alliance envisions a Colorado where connected, empowered, and sustainable communities have fulfilled their potential economically, environmentally, and socially.
Center for the New Energy Economy
Founded in 2011 as a department of Colorado State University, the Center for the New Energy Economy is a privately funded initiative led by Colorado’s 41st Governor, Bill Ritter, Jr. and assisted by a team of energy and environmental policy experts. The Center works directly with governors, legislators, regulators, companies and stakeholders by providing technical and strategic assistance to help decision makers create policies that facilitate America’s transition to a clean energy economy.
Colorado Cleantech Industries Association
Founded in 2008, CCIA is a statewide organization dedicated to promoting Colorado’s cleantech industry. CCIA is the only industry-led, industry-focused cleantech group in the state. Its mission is to provide advocacy, public policy leadership, development and education in the cleantech sector.
Colorado Solar Energy Industries Association
COSEIA is an award winning nonprofit trade association that has been leading the state’s solar industry for 27 years. COSEIA works on advancing solar policy at the Public Utilities Commission, the legislature, and through local governments. The organization works to expand solar markets and bring down barriers to solar adoption. In addition, COSEIA sponsors the biggest annual solar conference in the Rocky Mountain Region called Solar Power Colorado. It is scheduled for March TBD, 2018.
Colorado Renewable Energy Society
The Colorado Renewable Energy Society (CRES) is dedicated to the advancement of all forms of renewable energy (RE), energy efficiency (EE), and their synergy with sustainability and economic development. Its goal is to raise awareness and provide educational activities, through all CRES chapters, to increase the adoption of existing and emerging EE/RE technologies, techniques, and policies.

Conservation Colorado’s mission is to protect Colorado’s environment and quality of life by mobilizing people and electing conservationminded policymakers.
University of Colorado Wirth Chair of Sustainable Development Sustainability Series
